Answers to the Most Googled Questions: How to Increase Ovulation Naturally (Part 3)

Updated: Oct 15

Welcome back to my third article, which answers some of the most Googled fertility questions, focusing on how to increase ovulation naturally. I’m motivated to write these because I personally spent three and a half years trying for a baby. In my desperation to find fertility treatments, I turned to Google, which only created more confusion.

You know how it goes with Google—you can spend hours looking into contradicting advice. But, on this blog, our focus is clear: We want to boost fertility with lifestyle changes.

My team dug into the backend of Google and found the most searched questions about natural fertility. These questions are presented exactly as they are being searched—because we’ve all had those nights where we ask Google for answers in desperation.

So, let's get started!

Understand the Best Time to Get Pregnant by Preparing your Body and Enjoying the Process

"How to get pregnant fast and easily" is one of the most googled questions.

I'd say understanding the best time to get pregnant and how to increase ovulation naturally is key. Let’s break down what “getting pregnant fast” actually means. If you conceive within three months, that's quite fast. But maybe you don’t want to rush and would prefer to give yourself time to prepare your body for pregnancy.

A couple are making the most of their best time to get pregnant by enjoying each other's company.

If that’s the case, why not say, "This year, we’ll try for a baby." Take the time to prepare. You can start by downloading my eBook, Ready to Try, which covers four essential checks before you start trying. Remember, pregnancy is like running a marathon—a serious task for your body. Just to put it into perspective, labour alone burns around 3,600 calories!

Now, onto the next part—how to get pregnant easily. What makes it "easy"? The answer lies in making the process enjoyable. It’s easy to get fixated on the idea of conceiving, but don’t forget—getting pregnant should be an enjoyable experience, not just a task.

When I was trying, my mind was constantly on: "I need to get pregnant now!" I lost sight of the fun, the romance, and the joy in the process. Looking back, I wish I had treated it as an adventure rather than a chore on my to-do list.

It helps if you can relax, have date nights, enjoy nice dinners, and shift your mindset from "goal-driven" to "enjoyment-driven." Women, especially those from professional backgrounds, tend to be very target-oriented. But trust me—this is one time when it’s better to let go of the agenda.

Focus instead on boosting fertility with lifestyle changes and turning this experience into a beautiful adventure. This is what I would say to my younger self. This is also what I would like to have heard from someone when I first tried for a baby because I did it all wrong. That's why it took me three and a half years!

How to Check Male Fertility Naturally and Increase Natural Fertility

Now, on to the next question: How can sperm be strong for pregnancy?

After reading about how to check male fertility naturally, a couple are cooking Mediterranean food to boost fertility.

Making sperm strong for pregnancy is a big topic, but here’s a simplified, optimistic answer to get started. If you're wondering how to check male fertility naturally, start by focusing on a Mediterranean diet, which is rich in variety and is one of the best ways to support both male and female fertility.

When learning how to increase ovulation naturally, encourage your partner to ditch processed foods, quit smoking, minimise alcohol, and ensure his phone isn’t stored too close to his reproductive area. Additionally, consistent sleep—at least eight hours a night—is essential for both partners.

Maximising natural fertility is a shared responsibility, with both partners equally contributing to conception. So, establishing a balanced nutrition routine, sleep, and exercise maximises your chances during the best time to get pregnant.

If you’re feeling the pressure and thinking, "I need to get pregnant this month," focus on implementing these habits to give yourself the best possible shot.

I realise you've probably heard these points hundreds of times before. But does he do them? Do YOU do them? You can help him most if you take the lead. Too often, we put all the emphasis on women, which is unfair. Remember, it’s a 50/50 partnership!

Insights on How to Increase Ovulation Naturally

A woman is researching how to increase ovulation naturally on her laptop.

In this journey of answering the most Googled fertility questions, it’s clear that understanding your body is vital.

Learning how to increase ovulation naturally is not just about timing—it’s about aligning your lifestyle with your body's needs. You know my mantra: Ovulation is a process, it is not an event!

Major factors you should consider are :

  • Start your cycle right by respecting your period as a time to rest and follow the logic: you are losing blood, so you want to nourish it. Eat foods rich in iron.

  • Get enough sleep and get at least 8 hours of sleep each night (this is crucial for hormone production).

  • Maintain proper nutrition by eliminating processed foods and eating with the cycle. If you are unsure how to do this, then head over to my recipe section.

  • Manage your stress levels by deliberately planning de-stressing activities like exercises or quality time with friends.

Natural fertility is a delicate balance; the proper steps, like understanding your cycle and adopting supportive habits, will make a real difference.

I’ve shared these insights based on personal experience, research, and Chinese medicine, offering clear, truthful answers without sugar-coating anything. My mission is to shed light on fertility for women, especially those 36 and older, and to break the myth that it’s too late.

I have a favour to ask you. If you know of any women who would benefit from learning these answers, please share this information with them. I feel like we live in the dark when it comes to understanding our bodies, but natural fertility especially.

Thank you for being here.
